Dental fillings

Fillings are performed to remove the decay and replace the affected tooth structure. It’s called a filling because a new material fills the hole that decay left behind. Today, most teeth are treated with bonded tooth-colored composite resins.

Found early enough, cavities can be treated easily and with less discomfort. If not treated, decay can lead to tooth pain and/or infection. This can cause a need for root canal treatment or tooth extraction.

Regular dental appointments help our dentists to check your teeth regularly for cavities and eradicate the risk of tooth pain and or infection.
