Fluoride applications

After each cleaning, we apply a concentrated fluoride treatment to the teeth of our pediatric patients. This helps remineralize weakened areas of enamel, decrease decay, and eliminate tooth sensitivity.
Fluoride is very beneficial for children because it becomes integrated with growing teeth and helps develop resistance to acids later in life.

Personalized Oral Hygiene Plan

During each appointment, our hygienists or dental assistants will help provide a customized oral hygiene plan complete with instructions to help you take control of your oral health. We’ll discuss what is needed and how to encourage good oral hygiene habits to your family.

Dental professionals recommend brushing twice each day for no less than two minutes with a soft-bristled toothbrush. Floss once daily to clean between teeth by wrapping the floss around each tooth and gliding it gently up and down under the gumlines. Healthy gums do not bleed when oral hygiene is practiced properly and regularly.
